Optional Flat Toolbars for Murrine 13 February, 2008
Just a quick note following the previous update to Clearlooks with optional Flat Toolbars.
I’ve added the same thing in the Murrine engine, should work quite good except the menubar in RGBA mode… For the moment I just ignore shadow-type when drawing menubars in RGBA mode.
So In the next release you’ll be free to use it in this powerful Gtk Engine…
Thanks goes again to lucazade for the main concept, even if it was a simple patch ![]()

I never thought flat toolbars would looked this nice
I’m currently using the murrine engine, and I’ll try the rgba mode someday
Thanks for all your work on the subject, creating such an engine pushing further the limits of gtk theming.

Hi there,
I was fiddling with a Murrine theme and I’ve noticed something. There seems to be no way to change the size of arrows in a drop down menu lists that expands (I think the object name is GtkToolMenu, eg. the Gnome main menu list). Moreover, the bigger the menu list items, the smaller the arrows seems to be…
Is it possible to change the size of these arrows ? Can you add support for that in the Murrine engine ?
