The patch is updated since the scheduled transaction editor was drawing incorrectly with the first version of the patch. Patch to GnuCash 2.2.5 (current stable) to enable rgba support. It's likely to apply to previous 2.2.x versions as well.

cd to the top of the build root for gnucash and patch -p1 <gnucash-2.2.5-rgba.patch then build as usual
