Currently, when you hover the pointer over a widget, it gets prelighted in just one phase. Is it possible to implement a "two (or more) phased prelight" feature (for a softer transaction into prelight state) within the engine, or is it something which must be handled by gtk, beyond the engine? We now have animated progressbars, some time ago (before cairo era) clearlooks had animated checkboxes and radio buttons, I guess it shouldn't be impossible at least..
